THE DREAM HAS COME TRUE!

ENGEBAG is founded based on the Bag Cleaner (big bags maintenance) experience and is focused on big bags manufacturing for the food sector.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE FOOD BIG BAG

Development of the model MF5 food big bag specific for being in contact with food. All big bags manufactured start being previously approved according to tests required by standard NBR 15.009 – Flexible Container – Test Requirements and Methods.

SPECIAL BAGS MODEL

Engebag develops special bags models with protection against light, oxygen and humidity, and high protection to increase the stored product shelf life.

MANUFACTURING GOOD PRACTICES

Engebag is the first national company to receive the Certification in BPF (Manufacturing Good Practices) for food packaging. In the same year, it becomes the first and only certified company in Brazil in HACCP, according to the Codex Alimentarius, for the manufacturing of big bags for the food industry.

ABNT STANDARD REVIEW

Engebag is part of the Committee that reviewed and replaced standard NBR 15.009 for NBR 16.029:2012 – Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) for non-hazardous products (ISO 21898:2004 MOD).

ISO 9001:2008

The company receives the ISO 9001:2008 Certification seeking to promote the systematic improvement of the quality management process.

It homologates the big bag for hazardous product for transportation by land.

FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Innovative in the market, always seeking continuous improvement process and focusing specially in food safety, Engebag receives, in February 2015, the FSSC 22000 Certification (Food Safety Management System), becoming the first national company to have this important certification.

TYPE B

It develops and homologates the antistatic model.

ROLL OUT OF SPECIAL LINERS

Big bags with special molded liners start being marketed.

RECERTIFICATIONS AND OPENING OF NEW HEADQUARTERS

Engebag is recertified in FSSC 22.000 Standards, version 4.1 and ISO 9.001 version 2015.

It opens the new plant in large and modern facilities, suitable for manufacturing big bags for the food market and for markets other than the food ones.
