Quality

Since the beginning, Engebag has always prioritized the quality of its products and has focused on food safety. In 2010, it was the first company that manufactures Big Bags to implement the BPF (Boas Práticas de Fabricação para a Indústria de Alimentos – Good Manufacturing Practices for the Food Industry). It was also the first to receive the HACCP certification (Análise de Perigos e Pontos Críticos de Controle – Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). In a continuous process of improvement, focusing especially in food safety, Engebag overcame its challenges once more and received the FSSC 22000 (Sistema de Gestão da Segurança do Alimento – Food Safety Management System) certification in 2015, becoming the first and only Brazilian Big Bags manufacturer to have such an important certification, which is one of the most advanced and complete standards used to assure the Big Bag origin for food packaging. At the end of 2018, the operations in the new plant started. It was totally designed and built with the most modern food safety concepts.

ISO 9001

In February/2013: Engebag receives this important certification; the ISO 9001:2008 aims at promoting the systematic improvement in the quality management process.

In April/2018: it is recertified ISO 9001 version 2015, reinforcing its commitment and responsibility in quality management.

FSSC 22.000

In February/2015: In a continuous process of improvement, focusing especially in food safety, Engebag receives the FSSC 22000 (Sistema de Gestão da Segurança do Alimento – Food Safety Management System) certification, becoming the first and only Brazilian company to have such certification.

In February/2018: It was recertified with the FSSC 22000 certification in the new 4.1 version, that improved in terms of being more consistent and strict in the requirements met from the interested parties, and Prevention from Intentional Product Contamination (Food Fraud).
